The following video gives a brief overview of the GroupWork2.0 application.

GroupWork2.0 provides syneragy between existing applications while adding additional functionality to provide an advanced e-learning space.

  • Syneragy between Google Chrome Browser, Social Search/Google+, Hangouts, Drive, Docs

  • Login access to protect privacy

  • The ability to create multiple group areas

  • Each group area would have the following features:

    • Internet Browser (Google Chrome)

    • Social search (Google+)

    • Group specific social bookmarking with annotation capacity

    • Asynchronous discussion forum (Google Hangouts)

    • Synchronous video/voice/text chat (Google Hangouts)

    • Ability to upload and share documents (Google Drive)

    • Ability to collaborate on documents (Google Docs)

    • Group member time zone clocks

  • Free and subscriber services

    • Free services would include all of the above features

      • Each group member would need to create an account

      • Group creator must send out invitations to join

      • In app/site advertising

      • Would contain limited storage/groups

    • Subscriber level includes above features

      • No advertising

      • Organization can create a set of logins

      • Administrator control

        • Teachers can organize groups

        • Optional overseeing function
